COMMUNITY OUTREACH YEG HAS OUR IDENTIFIABLE LOOK!
The Fluorescent Yellow Vests of Street Outreach
If you see two or more people walking down the street wearing a bright florescent yellow vest with the Outreach on the back bottom, then you have run into one of our mobile outreach teams! Community Outreach YEG volunteers are out meeting with people and handing out snacks and toiletries. We have teams on the street pretty much any night of the week (5 pm – 9 pm) and throughout the weekend days or night.
When You See a Street Outreach Team
Remember that the Community Outreach YEG Team is out to connect with and serve the Greater Edmonton Area street community. If you or someone you may have seen, needs something don’t hesitate to wave our team down.
Compassion and Empathy are birthed by a compelling motivation to take a little time to listen, to hear, and understand why things are the way they are. Every person experiencing poverty or homelessness has a story, but many often go unheard. We are supported by churches, businesses, individuals who genuinely care for those who suffer, have no voice, and are forgotten or alone. Volunteers show mercy and compassion. Churches and groups invest time and money to relieve the suffering of the afflicted.

Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.
